SPCE-TC Registration Award for Best Abstracts for Sezin Aday

Sezin Aday, member of our laboratory have won the SPCE-TC Registration Award for the Best Abstracts with the work entitled “A stable and reproducible human blood-brain barrier model derived from hematopoietic stem cells” in the 8th International Meeting of the Portuguese Society Stem Cells and Cell Therapies

The 8th Annual International Meeting of the Portuguese Society for Stem and Cell Therapies which was be held at the University of Algarve, Faro, on the 9th and 10th of May 2013. In line with meetings organized over the past seven years by the Portuguese Society for Stem and Cell Therapies, the symposium aimed to gather together the Portuguese scientific, academic and medical communities as well as industries with interests in fundamental and applied research in stem cells, their development and use for cellular-based therapies, tissue engineering and regenerative medicine.
